Biblical Strategies For Sharing The Gospel
Biblical Strategies For Sharing The Gospel
Biblical strategies for sharing the Gospel focus on communicating the message of salvation through Jesus Christ with love, boldness, clarity, and compassion. These Biblical strategies for sharing the Gospel highlight the importance of personal involvement, commitment, love, and reliance on God’s guidance and power to effectively share the Gospel with others.
Biblical Strategies For Sharing The Gospel
1. Geographic Gospel Saturation
The Bible is clear in showing that God loves all people everywhere in the world. And that because God loves all, He wants all to be saved.
1 Timothy 2:4 – God wants all men to be saved, and to come to a knowledge of the truth.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world…
Acts 1:8
*God will empower us to be His witnesses
*We are to Be Witnesses, not just Do witnessing once in awhile. We are to be filled with God’s love and passion to reach the many lost in the world who are without Christ and without hope
*We are to take the Gospel to our Jerusalem (our community), our Judea & Samaria (our nation), and to the ends of the earth (our world)
Acts 8:1,4 “Those who had been scattered (ALL the regular people of the church) preached the word wherever they went” The early church in the book of Acts were all faithful in obeying Jesus’ command to be “fishers of men” and faithful witnesses for Jesus. And to take the Gospel message everywhere. Even during terrible persecution and difficult circumstances.
Acts 13:44, 49 – Paul & Barnabus in Antioch… “On the next Sabbath almost the whole city gathered to hear the word of the Lord… And the word of the Lord was being spread though the whole region”
Acts 19:8-10 – Paul in Ephesus… “…this went on for 2 years so that all the Jews and Greeks who lived in the province of Asia heard the word of the Lord”
The church in the Bible had a clear goal and passion. To passionately and faithfully take the Gospel to all people in their communities, in their nation, and all around the world.

2. Public Preaching of the Gospel
The apostles and all of the regular people in the early church in Acts utilized various types of public events and religious festivals as opportunities to reach many people with the Gospel. These are just a few examples of this strategy being used.
Acts 2:14-41 – Peter preached – 3000 saved
Acts 3 & 4 – Peter & John preached – 5000 saved
Acts 5:42 “And every day, in the temple and from house to house, they kept right on teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ.”
Acts 17:1-2 “…they came to Thessalonica, where there was a synagogue of the Jews. And according to Paul’s custom, he went to them, and for three Sabbaths reasoned with them from the Scriptures.”
Acts 17:16-17 “While Paul was waiting for them in Athens, he was greatly distressed to see that the city was full of idols. So he reasoned in the synagogue with both Jews and God-fearing Greeks, as well as in the marketplace day by day with those who happened to be there.”
Acts 18:1,4 “After this, Paul left Athens and went to Corinth… Every Sabbath he reasoned in the synagogue, trying to persuade Jews and Greeks.
Acts 19:8-10 (Paul in the synagogue for 3 months, and then daily in the school of Tyrannus for 2 years)
In part 2 next week we will look at the final 3 Biblical strategies for sharing the Gospel. It is important to always remember that God loves all people everywhere. And that God wants them all saved. Not everyone will respond to hearing the Gospel with repentance and faith. But that should not stop us from trying to tell as many people as possible about the Good News of God’s love and Jesus.
