End Times Global Government

This is the first of a 3 part series of articles on Biblical prophecy and the end times. We will look into 3 parts of the end times. The end times global government, the end times global currency & economic system, and the end times global religion. We will also see a lot of Bible verses and information about the Antichrist, his False Prophet, and the Mark of the Beast.

 

End Times Global Government

The Beast of the Sea – The Antichrist

Revelation 13:1-6
And the dragon (Satan) stood on the sand of the seashore. Then I saw a beast (Antichrist) coming up out of the sea, having ten horns and seven heads, and on his horns were ten diadems, and on his heads were blasphemous names. 2 And the beast which I saw was like a leopard, and his feet were like those of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. And the dragon gave him his power and his throne and great authority. 3 I saw one of his heads as if it had been slain, and his fatal wound was healed. And the whole earth was amazed and followed after the beast;

4 they worshiped the dragon because he gave his authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast, and who is able to wage war with him?” 5 There was given to him a mouth speaking arrogant words and blasphemies, and authority to act for forty-two months was given to him. 6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemies against God, to blaspheme His name and His tabernacle, that is, those who dwell in heaven.

The Antichrist and the global government in the end times is also seen in Daniel's vision in Daniel 7:16-27

 

End Times Global Government

The Antichrist Will Be the Leader of the End Times Global Government

Revelation 13:7
It was also given to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them, and authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation was given to him.

 

The Antichrist Will Deceive All People Who Are Not Believers In Christ

2 Thessalonians 2:9-12
the one (Antichrist) whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders, 10 and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved. 11 For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false, 12 in order that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in wickedness.

In the end times wickedness will increase, and things will be turned upside down. Right will become wrong, and wrong will become right. Evil and wrong things that were done previously in secret will be done unashamedly and flaunted for all to see.

It is interesting to see what verse 11 says. Because of ever increasing rejection of Christ and the acceptance of wickedness, God will send a "deluding influence" that will cause them to be more prone to deception and to believe in what is false. It will be easier for people in the end times to be deceived and fooled by the Antichrist and Satan, because of their unbelief and rejection of Christ.

One of the tools that will be used to deceive many is the media. It is clear even today that the media is very unreliable and a source of many false reports and news. Although on the surface this appears to be politically motivated, there are many spiritual issues behind what is happening.   

 

End Times Global Government

All People In The World That Are Not True Followers of Christ Will Worship The Antichrist

Revelation 13:8-10
All who dwell on the earth will worship him, everyone whose name has not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who has been slain. 9 If anyone has an ear, let him hear. 10 If anyone is destined for captivity, to captivity he goes; if anyone kills with the sword, with the sword he must be killed. Here is the perseverance and the faith of the saints.

2 Thessalonians 2:3-4
Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness (Antichrist) is revealed, the son of destruction, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.

 

End Times Global Government

The Ultimate Destiny of the Antichrist, His False Prophet, and All Who Worship Him and Have the “Mark of the Beast”

2 Thessalonians 2:8
Then that lawless one (Antichrist) will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming.

Revelation 19:20-21
And the beast was seized, and with him the false prophet who performed the signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image; these two were thrown alive into the lake of fire which burns with brimstone. 21 And the rest were killed with the sword which came from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse, and all the birds were filled with their flesh.

Current Events In The World

Just in the last few years we are hearing more and more about globalism. We had never heard of globalism before until just recently. There is now a world wide effort to have “open borders” and a global government. Much of this is being disguised as global efforts to solve global problems such as “climate change” and others.

A couple of years before Barak Obama's presidency ended he had a meeting in Washington with ambassadors of many nations. You never heard of this meeting in the media, or what was said in the meeting.

Obama talked about how there were many large problems in the world today, such as climate change, terrorism (Isis was at it's peak at the time), racism, abuse by police, and economic difficulties. He said that no one nation could solve these problems, not even the United States. Then he added that only a global government or organization was able to solve all of the world's problems.

 

A Godless Global Society

And there is a great effort to push “godless” beliefs and policies on all nations of the world. Godless policies such as abortion, homosexuality, trans rights, men in women's bathrooms, and others. In our missions travels to many countries we have seen this coordinated effort to bring globalism and many godless policies. Nations are being pressured by the UN and other world leaders to adopt these policies or they will lose their financial aid or support and other benefits.

There are other events in the world that all point to us clearly being in the end times. Russia and China and Iran cooperating in military operations and other ways in Syria, the Middle East, and other parts of the world. The ever increasing persecution of Christians around the world.

The efforts to rebuild the Jewish temple in Jerusalem and how everything is ready to go for the rebuild (Daniel 12:11). And there are many other events that are signs of the end times. A global government in the end times is clearly one of the things the Bible reveals and points to.

Most likely this godless government will be Communist. In Communism there is no god. The government and it's leaders are king. Communism has spread to many countries in the world today. The majority of Central and South American countries are run by corrupt Communist, Socialist leaders. And communist China has it's hands in many countries. Even the US is showing many signs of fascism and communism.

 

In the next Bible study article we will talk about the end times global currency & economic system. And about those that receive the “mark of the beast” and worship the Antichrist.

 

End Times Global Currency & Economic System

The Bible describes the end times primarily in the books of Daniel, Ezekiel, Joel, Micah, Matthew, 1 & 2 Thessalonians, 1 Timothy, 2 Peter, and Revelation. Key themes include the return of Jesus Christ, the final judgment, and the establishment of God's kingdom.

Signs of the end times are depicted, such as wars, natural disasters, and moral decline. The Book of Revelation outlines a series of apocalyptic events, including the rise of the Antichrist, the Great Tribulation, and the ultimate defeat of evil. Believers are encouraged to remain faithful and vigilant, with the promise of eternal life and restoration for those who follow Christ. In the first part of this series on Biblical prophecy and the end times, we discussed the Antichrist and the coming End Times Global Government(opens in new tab). The Antichrist will be the leader of the end times global government. The end times global government will be a front for the godless society and policies that the Antichrist will get many people to follow.

In this 2nd part in our series on end times Bible prophecy we will look at the End Times Global Currency & Economic System. As part of the global government system there will be an end times global currency. This will be one of the methods used to force people to adhere to the godless society and policies of the Antichrist. And to turn away from God and worship the Antichrist. 

 

End Times Global Currency & Economic System

The Antichrist Will Control Commerce And The End Times Global Currency

Known as the beast of the sea in the book of Revelation, the Antichrist will control commerce and the global currency in the end times. This is one of the ways that he will control people and will get them to submit to him and worship him. They will not be able to buy food, clothing, housing... without the mark of the beast.

Revelation 13:16-18
And he causes all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free men and the slaves, to be given a mark on their right hand or on their forehead, 17 and he provides that no one will be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name. 18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for the number is that of a man; and his number is six hundred and sixty-six.

There is a variety of speculation about the economic system and global currency in the end times. The Bible shows that the Antichrist will implement a one world economic system and a global currency in the end times. Some speculate that there will be one world global currency. Others believe that it will be a cashless system based on electronic credits and debits. The Bible does not give us specific details of the economic or global currency system, except that it will be controlled by the Antichrist and the global government. And it will be used to control and manipulate people to reject Christ and to worship the Antichrist.

 

End Times Global Currency & Economic System

The People Who Reject Christ and Receive The Mark of the Beast Will Suffer a Great Deal in the Tribulation

End times prophecy in the Bible reveals that the tribulation will be a terrible time to live in. It will be terrible for people who come to faith in Christ during the tribulation period. And many believers will even be martyred. It will be especially terrible for unbelievers, and they will suffer a great deal of God's wrath.

In the first half of the Tribulation period (the first 3 1/2 years), people will suffer terribly during the 7 Seals (Revelation 6 & 7) and the 7 Trumpets (Revelation 8 & 9). Then in the 2nd half of the Tribulation there will be great suffering during the 7 Bowls or Plagues as per below.

 

The 7 Bowls or Plagues of Revelation 16

Revelation 16:1-2
Then I heard a loud voice from the temple, saying to the seven angels, “Go and pour out on the earth the seven bowls of the wrath of God.” 2 So the first angel went and poured out his bowl on the earth; and it became a loathsome and malignant sore on the people who had the mark of the beast and who worshiped his image.

Revelation 16:3-4
The second angel poured out his bowl into the sea, and it became blood like that of a dead man; and every living thing in the sea died. 4 Then the third angel poured out his bowl into the rivers and the springs of waters; and they became blood.

Revelation 16:8-12
The fourth angel poured out his bowl upon the sun, and it was given to it to scorch men with fire. 9 Men were scorched with fierce heat; and they blasphemed the name of God who has the power over these plagues, and they did not repent so as to give Him glory. 10 Then the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom became darkened; and they gnawed their tongues because of pain, 11 and they blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores; and they did not repent of their deeds. 12 The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river, the Euphrates; and its water was dried up, so that the way would be prepared for the kings from the east.

The 7th Bowl

Revelation 16:17-21
Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl upon the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple from the throne, saying, “It is done.” 18 And there were flashes of lightning and sounds and peals of thunder; and there was a great earthquake, such as there had not been since man came to be upon the earth, so great an earthquake was it, and so mighty. 19 The great city was split into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. Babylon the great was remembered before God, to give her the cup of the wine of His fierce wrath. 20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. 21 And huge hailstones, about one hundred pounds each, came down from heaven upon men; and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail, because its plague was extremely severe.

 

The Ultimate Destiny of Those Who Reject Christ and Take On the Mark of the Beast

Revelation 14:9-11
Then another angel, a third one, followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 he also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is mixed in full strength in the cup of His anger; and he will be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. 11 And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever; they have no rest day and night, those who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.”

End Times Global Currency & Economic System

There is a lot of speculation that the mark of the best will be a microchip placed in a person. The technology to “mark” people in this way has existed for some time. The microchip could be used to track a person's location, health, and financial transactions.

It is not clear in the Bible what exactly the mark of the best is. But it is most likely that a microchip ID system would be a way to mark and keep track of and control people.

In our next part we will look into the other key part of the coming end times global and godless government and society. The one world global religion.

The Beast of the Earth (Leader of the End Times Global Religion)

The beast from the earth, also called the false prophet (Revelation 19:20) will lead all unbelievers in the world. He is called the false prophet for good reason.

He will get people to take the "mark of the beast" and to worship the Antichrist. As a “religious leader” he will deceive a great number of people to turn away from Jesus Christ. And he will get them to worship the Antichrist and Satan. Thus leading them to become an enemy of the One True God.

Revelation 13:11-15
Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb and he spoke as a dragon. 12 He exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence. And he makes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose fatal wound was healed. 13 He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down out of heaven to the earth in the presence of men.

14 And he deceives those who dwell on the earth because of the signs which it was given him to perform in the presence of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who had the wound of the sword and has come to life. 15 And it was given to him to give breath to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast would even speak and cause as many as do not worship the image of the beast to be killed.

 

End Times Global Religion – Referred To As “The Harlot” or “Prostitute” in Revelation 17

Revelation 17:1-5
Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and spoke with me, saying, “Come here, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters, 2 with whom the kings of the earth committed acts of immorality, and those who dwell on the earth were made drunk with the wine of her immorality.” 3 And he carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness; and I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast, full of blasphemous names, having seven heads and ten horns.

4 The woman was clothed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a gold cup full of abominations and of the unclean things of her immorality,

The Headquarters Location of the End Times Global Religion Most Likely Will Be Rome

Revelation 17:5
and on her forehead a name was written, a mystery, “Babylon the great, the mother of harlots and of the abominations of the earth.”

1 Peter 5:13
She who is in Babylon (Rome), chosen together with you, sends you greetings, and so does my son, Mark.

Rome was known as Babylon in New Testament Biblical times. It appears that these verses point to Rome as being the headquarters of the coming one world religion. It is very possible that the one world religion will be headed by the leader of the Catholic church. They have been in talks and efforts in the last few years with other religions such as Islam that are focused on working together and saying that all of these religions lead to god. And the pope has aligned himself with all of the current global “liberal” policies, such as open borders, climate change... Time will tell as to who the leader of the one world religion will be.

 

The End Times Global Religion Will Be Opposed to Christians

Revelation 17:6
And I saw the woman drunk with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the witnesses of Jesus.

We can already see an increasing amount of persecution against Christians in the world. Every year more and more Christians are persecuted, beaten, and even killed for their faith in Christ. This is only going to continue to worsen as we get closer to the end times.

The End Times Global Religion Will Be Against Jews Also

Matthew 24:15
Therefore when you see the Abomination of Desolation (the Antichrist will declare himself to be god) which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (the Jewish temple) (let the reader understand), 16 then those who are in Judea must flee to the mountains.

Persecution of Jews is also on the rise. There are many countries and governments that want to destroy Israel and the Jews. The UN has been against Israel and Jews ever since the establishment of the current nation of Israel in 1948, and has constantly been harassing Israel and making many declarations against them.

 

The End Times Global Religion Will Be A Mixture of Various World Religions

The End Times Global Religion will most likely be a joining together of and acceptance of all beliefs, practices, religions, and people. Except Jewish people and Christians. This will make it easier to influence and control many people of all nations of the world.

And get them to worship the Antichrist. The belief today that “there are many ways that lead to God” will be used by Satan to deceive many. Tolerance and unity will be used on the end times world religion as a way to deceive people and get them to hate Christians' "one Way to God" (Jesus) doctrine. This will get many people to hate Christians' so called "intolerance" and "hate".

The False Prophet & the End Times Global Religion Will Deceive Many In The World

Revelation 19:20
And the beast was seized, and with him the false prophet who performed the signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image;

People in the end times will be easier to deceive and manipulate. Paul warns of this in 2 Timothy 4:3-4 “For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching. But having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.”

We are clearly in the end times. Now more than ever it is very important for Christians to be intently studying God's word, so as to not be deceived. And to be praying. And to try to share the Good News of Jesus with as many people as possible.

Additional Information & Recent Events

In early 2019 the Pope and the leaders of the Catholic and Islam religions signed a peace declaration called the Document on Human Fraternity. There are other religions represented on the head committee for this new one world movement.

Included on the committee and in the movement is a Jewish rabbi, a Buddhist representative, and other religions as well. The president of the committee, Cardinal Miguel Ayuso, stated the purpose of the new agreement. “To propose in a positive way that the human family can live fraternally together”.

 

The Abrahamic Family House opened in 2023. This is the first concrete implementation of the Document on Human Fraternity. They have a church, a mosque and a synagogue all on the same site in Abu Dhabi UAE. Three different houses of worship will be united with a single foundation.
