Words Of Wisdom For Ministry – Focus On God’s Promises & Assurances

In Part 1 of Words Of Wisdom For Ministry we talked about how at times missions and ministry can be very difficult. We experience a lot of spiritual warfare. And then there are times when others that we work with can let us down.

If we are not careful, our attitude can turn into one of frustration and unhappiness. It is very important to maintain a quiet time with our Lord and continually work on our fellowship with Him. And to periodically read God’s great promises and assurances for His kingdom work. God’s word is full of encouragement. And there are many great promises and assurances of victory and fruitfulness in missions and ministry.

Words Of Wisdom For Ministry – God’s Great Promises & Assurances Of Victory

Because God is perfectly faithful, He will always give or do what He promises. Basically God’s promises are Guarantees because of His perfect character and His perfect faithfulness.

This is especially true for God’s promises and assurances of victory and fruitfulness in His kingdom work. When we are fruitful and victorious in God’s kingdom work and mission, God gets the glory. For His name sake He will empower us to be fruitful and victorious in advancing His kingdom.

John 15:8 – My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples.

Words Of Wisdom For Ministry – Examples Of God’s Promises For His Kingdom Work & Mission

Here are some great promises and guarantees of victory that God gives us for His kingdom work and mission.

2 Corinthians 2:14 – But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place.

Ephesians 3:20-21 – Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.

Deuteronomy 31:7-8 – Then Moses called to Joshua and said to him in the sight of all Israel. ” Be strong and courageous, for you shall go with this people into the land which the Lord has sworn to their fathers to give them, and you shall give it to them as an inheritance. The Lord is the one who goes ahead of you; He will be with you.

Words Of Wisdom For Ministry – More Great Promises & Assurances Of Victory

2 Chronicles 20:17 – You need not fight in this battle. Station yourselves, stand and see the salvation of the LORD on your behalf, O Judah and Jerusalem. Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out to face them, for the LORD is with you.”

Isaiah 32:15 – Until the Spirit is poured out upon us from on high, And the wilderness becomes a fertile field, And the fertile field is considered as a forest.

Deuteronomy 20:4 – For the Lord your God is the one who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.

Matthew 9:37 – The harvest is great… (the spiritual harvest is already prepared and ready to be harvested)

God will always do what He says and promises. He called you into missions or ministry to be His instrument through whom He can accomplish all that He has planned. The battles and victories are already won. The harvest is already prepared and the fruitfulness will take place. If we stay focused on God and His promises and assurances. And if we do not let our focus change to the difficulties and disappointments we experience. And if we continue to do our part faithfully. Then we will experience all of God’s promises and victories and fruitfulness.
