Missions Ministry News & Photos

We have been self funded missionaries since 2005. God led us to sell my business and use our own resources and funds to serve Him as missionaries. God gave us a vision that includes doing various things to help churches to share the Gospel in their communities, and to make disciples.

We very much appreciate your prayers. Because we share the Gospel with many people in churches, schools, and outreach events in communities, we experience a great deal of spiritual warfare. Without Jesus we can do absolutely nothing, and cannot fulfill the mission He has given us. So we very much need your continued prayers.

The vision God has given us for our missions ministry includes doing the following things to help and train churches:

• Preach in churches
• Missions & evangelism training for churches
• Preach the Gospel in evangelistic events with churches
• Quality Of Life project to preach the Gospel in schools
• Help churches to make disciples

We have seen God do immeasurably more than we could ever think or imagine in our 20 years of missions ministry:

• We have shared the Gospel with over 400,000 people in churches, schools, outreach events, orphanages, drug rehab centers, prisons, visiting homes, person-to-person…
• God has touched and led over 160,100 people to repent and commit to follow Christ in their lives. This includes more than 2400 teachers & leaders in the schools.
• We have now done our Quality Of Life outreach project in 423 schools
• We have helped more than 240 churches to share the Gospel and make disciples
• Kevin has preached in more than 140 churches
• We have led 60 missions and evangelism training seminars for more than 100 churches

We give God all the glory, honor, and praise. For without Him we can accomplish nothing.

Here are some news updates and photos of our latest events and missions projects. You can click on the photos to enlarge them. 

February 2025: Mission Trip to Accra Ghana

We worked with Tesano Baptist Church in Accra. They are a great partner, and they arranged for us to do our Quality Of Life project in 11 schools. We normally do not do this, but we brought 4 other people with us. We also had various opportunities to share the Gospel with people in our hotel, in restaurants, shops… God moved in a powerful way in people’s hearts, and more than 4780 students and 4 teachers repented, accepted Christ, and committed their lives to Him. Praise God !

October 2024: Mission Trip to Portugal

This was a very different kind of mission trip for us. We visited Portugal for 1 week, and we used our Portuguese to have Gospel conversations with as many people as we could. We had to learn Portuguese when God called us to be missionaries and led us to live and serve in Brazil. Portugal is only approx. 1% Christian, and is considered a difficult mission field. God opened more doors than we were expecting, and we had Gospel conversations with 19 people as we traveled around Portugal. These included people from Portugal, Brazil, Angola (Africa), Pakistan, the Netherlands, and Nepal. Only 1 person we shared with refused to take additional Gospel information that we offered.

February 2024: Mission Trip to Kisumu & Homabay, Kenya

We had a great mission trip to western Kenya. We worked with Pr. Isaac, who serves to help orphans with AIDS in the rural areas of Kisumu and Homabay counties, and also with Nayamasaria Church in Kisumu. Kevin had the privilege of preaching in Nayamasaria Church. We also shared the Gospel in numerous schools in Kisumu and Homabay counties, most of which were in rural areas. God moved in mighty ways, and we saw amazing supernatural results. Thousands of students, many teachers, 2 school directors, and even some of the parents attending teacher conferences accepted Christ and committed their lives to Him. Praise God !

November 2022: Quality Of Life Project at EE Dr. Honorino school – Hortolandia

This was our last school outreach project in Brazil. The window of opportunity to do evangelism in the schools in Brazil is closing, and with the recent election results the window is sure to close soon. Because of this, and also because less and less churches are interested in missions and evangelism, we have closed out our ministry in Brazil. We had a great day in this school, and a large number of students and various teachers repented and committed to follow Jesus. The participation of Igreja Batista Boas Novas was very good also.

October 2022: Quality Of Life Project at EE Candido school – Sumaré

We worked with Segunda Igreja Batista Sumaré in this state school for 1st to 5th graders. The participation of the church was great, with 11 people from the church helping us. Including the 2 pastors. We had a great day at the school, and God moved in a great way. Hundreds of students and 5 teachers repented and committed their lives to Jesus. It appears that the school is open to the church doing more to help the students, teachers, and families.

October 2022: Preaching at Segunda Igreja Batista – Sumaré

Kevin had the privilege to preach at the church about the type of Christian and church that God wants. We will be working with the church in an upcoming project at a school nearby.

September 2022: Quality Of Life project at EE Antonio Zanluchi school – Hortolandia

This is a large school in a poor area in Hortolandia. We were scheduled to speak to the morning students & teachers and then in the afternoon period also. It went really well in the morning and the Holy Spirit worked in a powerful way. A large number of students and some teachers repented and made a commitment to follow Jesus. Unfortunately we were not able to speak in the afternoon. The principal told us that there are some very difficult parents in the afternoon period, and one even filed a complaint against her and the school for having a different project in the school that the mother did not like. So the principal needs to try to get the parents permission before we can speak to the afternoon group. It is getting harder and harder to be able to get into the schools these days.

September 2022: Quality Of Life project at EE Dr. Camilo school – Indaiatuba

We worked with our own church Igreja Batista Nova Alianca in Indaiatuba, and the participation was very good. The principal is interested in having her daughter visit the adolescents group in our church.  One of the leaders in the school tried to get us to stop talking about the spiritual life part of our message, which is the Gospel, but we did not comply. Many students and some teachers repented and committed their lives to Jesus.

August 2022: Preach at Igreja Crista Hesed – Elias Fausto

The pastor of this church is friends with some people at the Baptist church in Elias Fausto that we have worked with in some schools this year, and he invited Kevin to preach.

August 2022: Missions Conference at Igreja Batista Nova Alianca – Indaiatuba

Our church in Indaiatuba held a 2 day missions conference to inspire and challenge more people and more churches to actively participate in God’s mission work. Kevin had the privilege to be one of the speakers at the event, along with several other missionaries from various organizations and locations.

August 2022: Quality Of Life project at EE Elysabeth school – Sumaré

We had a great day at this school for students in 6th grade through high school. A great number of students and various teachers repented and committed their lives to Jesus. Our friend Joana from Sao Paulo visited us for a few days and helped as one of our interpreters. Sadly no one showed up from the church that committed to help us, and the school was very open to receive more help.

Please pray for for us as we join God in His work and mission, and for the churches we are helping. And please pray also for the students, teachers, leaders, and families that we will be sharing the Gospel with in the schools.

Your prayers are very much needed and appreciated, and they make a big difference.
