Biblical Prophecy : The One World Global Religion In The End Times
The Bible describes the end times primarily in the books of Daniel, Ezekiel, Joel, Micah, Matthew, 1 & 2 Thessalonians, 1 Timothy, 2 Peter, and Revelation. Key themes include the return of Jesus Christ, the final judgment, and the establishment of God’s kingdom.

This is the 3rd article of the 3 part series on Biblical prophecy and the end times. In the 1st part we looked at the coming one world global government that will be led by the Antichrist. The 2nd article was about the global currency & economic system that will be used by the global government to pressure people into rejecting Christ and to worship the Antichrist.
In this final article we will study Bible verses that reveal the one world global religion in the end times. The global religion in the end times will be used by the Antichrist and Satan to deceive many people. The ultimate goal of the global government, currency, and religion is to get people to turn away from Christ and to follow & worship Satan.
Global Religion In The End Times
The Beast of the Earth (Leader of the Global Religion in the End Times)
The beast of the earth, also called the false prophet (Revelation 19:20) will lead all unbelievers in the world. He will get people to take the “mark of the beast” and to worship the Antichrist. As a “religious leader” he will deceive a great number of people to turn away from Jesus Christ. And he will get them to worship the Antichrist and Satan.
Revelation 13:11-15
Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb and he spoke as a dragon. 12 He exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence. And he makes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose fatal wound was healed. 13 He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down out of heaven to the earth in the presence of men.
14 And he deceives those who dwell on the earth because of the signs which it was given him to perform in the presence of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who had the wound of the sword and has come to life. 15 And it was given to him to give breath to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast would even speak and cause as many as do not worship the image of the beast to be killed.

Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and spoke with me, saying, “Come here, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters, 2 with whom the kings of the earth committed acts of immorality, and those who dwell on the earth were made drunk with the wine of her immorality.” 3 And he carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness; and I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast, full of blasphemous names, having seven heads and ten horns.
4 The woman was clothed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a gold cup full of abominations and of the unclean things of her immorality,
The Location of the Global Religion In The End Times Most Likely Will Be Rome
Revelation 17:5
and on her forehead a name was written, a mystery, “Babylon the great, the mother of harlots and of the abominations of the earth.”
1 Peter 5:13
She who is in Babylon (Rome), chosen together with you, sends you greetings, and so does my son, Mark.
Rome was known as Babylon in New Testament Biblical times. It appears that these verses point to Rome as being the headquarters of the coming one world religion. It is very possible that the one world religion will be headed by the leader of the Catholic church. They have been in talks and efforts in the last few years with other religions such as Islam that are focused on working together and saying that all of these religions lead to god. And the pope has aligned himself with all of the current global “liberal” policies, such as open borders, climate change… Time will tell as to who the leader of the one world religion will be.

The Global Religion In The End Times Will Be Opposed to Christians
Revelation 17:6
And I saw the woman drunk with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the witnesses of Jesus.
We can already see an increasing amount of persecution against Christians in the world. Every year more and more Christians are persecuted, beaten, and even killed for their faith in Christ. This is only going to continue to worsen as we get closer to the end times.
The Global Religion In The End Times Will Be Against Jews Also
Matthew 24:15
Therefore when you see the Abomination of Desolation (the Antichrist will declare himself to be god) which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (the Jewish temple) (let the reader understand), 16 then those who are in Judea must flee to the mountains.
Persecution of Jews is also on the rise. There are many countries and governments that want to destroy Israel and the Jews. The UN has been against Israel and Jews ever since the establishment of the current nation of Israel in 1948, and has constantly been harassing Israel and making many declarations against them.
The Global Religion Will Be A Mixture of Various World Religions
The One World Religion will most likely be a joining together of and acceptance of all beliefs, practices, religions, and people, except Jewish people and Christians. This will make it easier to influence and control people of all nations of the world. And get them to worship the Antichrist. The belief today that “there are many ways that lead to God” will be used by Satan to deceive many.

The False Prophet & the Global Religion Will Deceive Many In The World
Revelation 19:20
And the beast was seized, and with him the false prophet who performed the signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image;
People in the end times will be easier to deceive and manipulate. Paul warns of this in 2 Timothy 4:3-4 “For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching. But having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.”
The Ultimate Destiny of the Antichrist, the False Prophet, and the People In the Global Religion
Revelation 19:20-21
And the beast was seized, and with him the false prophet who performed the signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image; these two were thrown alive into the lake of fire which burns with brimstone. 21 And the rest were killed with the sword which came from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse, and all the birds were filled with their flesh.
We are clearly in the end times. Now more than ever it is very important for Christians to be intently studying God’s word, so as to not be deceived.

Additional Information & Recent Events
In early 2019 the Pope and the leaders of the Catholic and Islam religions signed a peace declaration called the Document on Human Fraternity. There are other religions represented on the head committee for this new one world movement. Included on the committee and in the movement is a Jewish rabbi, a Buddhist representative, and other religions as well. The president of the committee, Cardinal Miguel Ayuso, stated the purpose of the new agreement. “To propose in a positive way that the human family can live fraternally together”.
The Abrahamic Family House was opened in 2023. This is the first concrete implementation of the Document on Human Fraternity. They built a church, a mosque and a synagogue in Abu Dhabi UAE. Three different houses of worship will be united with a single foundation.
